“I think that becoming a kind of a leader in our team came to me in a natural way, but it was not just a coincidence. I worked really hard for many, many years to be here and to achieve that. Anytime I play, I always give to the team the all of me and I always try to help anyone, who may be in need of any kind of support. This is my role and I am really pleased that my team mates trust me” – Kubiak said.

The captain is convinced that every of this year’s EuroVolley participants will do their best to gain the gold medal and is prepared for a hard battle in every upcoming match.
“There are no weak opponents in the European Championship, every team is able to win against the other. We have to do our best and stay focused all the time, because if we lose concentration even just for a while, we may already get into trouble. The level of the teams is now so similar, that only the details can count and decide about the result.”
