The Zonal Phase tournament – Pool E scheduled this weekend for the inaugural CEV Youth Beach Volleyball Continental Cup came to a close on Sunday in Estonia’s most popular beach seaside resort, Pärnu. The young players from Estonia, Lithuania, Hungary and Poland joining the competition whose finals will assign next year the spots available to compose Europe’s contingent for the 2014 Youth Olympics in Nanjing, China could enjoy perfect weather conditions as it was sunny almost through the complete weekend in Pärnu.

Pärnu, Estonia, July 14, 2013. The first only men`s event included in this year’s EEVZA Beach Volleyball Tour took place this past weekend in Pärnu, i.e. Estonia’s most popular seaside resort. A total of 24 men’s duos joined the tournament where their skills were tested also by excellent weather conditions, as sun accompanied the competition for most of the weekend.

Umag, Croatia, June 23, 2013. Brazil (men) and Poland (women) are the new U21 world champions. In the men’s final of the FIVB Junior World Championships in Umag Gustavo Carvalhaes and Allison Cittadin beat Canada’s Grant O’Gorman and Aaron Nusbaum in two sets. Katarzyna Kociolek and Jagoda Gruszscynska took the gold in straight sets against Germany’s Anika Krebs and Jelena Wlk.
