Luxembourg, February 6, 2019. The fourth round of play in the pool stage of the 2019 CEV Volleyball Champions League – Women continued on Wednesday with five matches in three pools. VakifBank ISTANBUL, Dinamo MOSCOW, Fenerbahce Opet ISTANBUL, Allianz MTV STUTTGART secured 3-0 or 3-1 victories while Imoco Volley CONEGLIANO fought back from 0-2 down to win after a thriller against German side SSC Palmberg SCHWERIN.

•    VakifBank paved their way to glory in Pool A with a 3-0 home victory over Bulgaria’s Maritza PLOVDIV to make it four wins in as many matches – with only one set dropped along the way.
•    It was their 26th straight victory in CEV Volleyball Champions League. Moreover, VakifBank have won 36 of their last 37 matches in the contest.
•    Lonneke Slöetjes received the MVP award and she was top scorer as well with 19 points to her name.
•    Dinamo MOSCOW’s task was not as easy as for VakifBank, but at the end the Russian team secured a 3-1 victory with the help of their key players over Romania’s C.S.M. BUCURESTI.
•    With their win, they cemented their second place in Pool E behind Fenerbahce.

•    In the same pool, Fenerbahce found their best game after recovering from 22-24 down to win the first set. Their comeback had an impact on the rest of the game with Chemik POLICE as the Yellow Angels soared to a 3-0 victory.
•    The Turkish team rules Pool E with four straight victories and only one set dropped in the series.
•    Germany’s Allianz MTV STUTTGART also secured an easy 3-0 victory over France’s BEZIERS VB. They dominated throughout the match to win in straight sets, much courtesy of a tally of 14 points scored by Jana Franziska Poll.
•    Imoco Volley CONEGLIANO had to fight back from two sets down to edge SCHWERIN at the tiebreak and make amends for their 0-3 loss in Germany earlier this season. Imoco sit in second place in their pool behind compatriots Savino Del Bene SCANDICCI.
