Armenia deliver Beach Volleyball seminar with the help of Olympic Solidarity Program

Yerevan, Armenia, December 3, 2018. The Volleyball Federation of Armenia are working closely with their National Olympic Committee (NOC) in order to grow and develop Beach Volleyball in the Caucasus country. As a result, the two organisations, with the help of the Olympic Solidarity Program, recently co-hosted a Beach Volleyball seminar including theoretical and practical sessions. 


The programme started back in July with an eight-day schedule followed by a second slot in September and a third and final one in November. As many as 25 coaches from Yerevan, Gavar and Abovyan participated in the event with theoretical classes held at Artsakh hotel and the practical ones at the facilities of the Grand Sport centre under the guidance of renowned coach Shailen Ramdoo from Finland. 

The sportsmen included athletes aged 10-18 and 20-21. The aim is to involve young players into coaching in order to foster the continuous and lasting growth of Beach Volleyball at the grassroots level.
