Russia’s rising stars poised to contest 2019 CEV U17 Volleyball European Championship - Men qualifier

Anapa, Russia, April 24, 2019. For the second season in a row, the ‘Voley Grad’ sports complex in Anapa will be hosting a European qualifier, as hosts Russia welcome the national teams of Hungary, the Netherlands and Slovakia in a tournament where a spot in the Final Round of this year’s #EuroVolleyU17M will be at stake.

Estonian Federation joins high-level partners to grow Sitting Volleyball

Tallinn, Estonia, April 24, 2019. The Estonian Volleyball Federation is proud to be part of an international project known as SIT2PLAY – doing so in cooperation with the Estonian Paralympic Committee, the Estonian Federation of Disability Sport, the Estonian Defence Forces and Erasmus+. The culmination of the project is a Sitting Volleyball tournament for young players that is due to take place in Tallinn – with attendance to a major tournament in Rome as the first-place prize at stake.

PÄRNU VK crowned Estonian champions after a four-year break

Tallinn, Estonia, April 23, 2019. The most successful coach in Estonia, Avo Keel led PÄRNU VK to their eleventh national championship title despite a terrible start to the season. Their last such accolade came in 2015. In the championship series, PÄRNU VK beat Bigbank TARTU 4:0, winning the first two games by 3-1 and the last two at the tiebreak.
